It was always the pigs who put forward the resolutions" , but I'd say that, " it's always the pigs....." . As any reader can get the idea that this is an allegory of Russian Revolution in the days of Stalin when he wanted to impose communism by force, besides it presents a clear picture of the whole Bolshevik Idea .

Animal Farm also symbolizes the cause and consequence of every rebellion that always succumbs to totalitarianism. Common man suffers , while the creamy layer prospers . It also proves the maxim that, "Power Corrupts".

Common people who just vote can be categorized among Horses, Sheep, Goats, Hens, Rats, Mangooses ...and Donkeys also.... not lions, wolves etc.
